About White House
The city of White House gets its name from a white, two-story house built in 1829 by Richard Wilks. The house served as a stopping point for stagecoaches traveling the L&N Turnpike (now US-31W) between Nashville and Louisville.
To get to the airport From White House, take I-65 South toward Nashville, then take I-40 East to Nashville International Airport (BNA). The drive is typically 30-40 minutes.
